Information we collect

We may collect your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, order details, product preferences, messages, product sourcing links or images, and payment status or transaction reference. The website may also store your cart and checkout draft on your device.

How we use it

We use customer information to process orders, source requested products, prepare quotations, arrange delivery, answer enquiries, prevent duplicate or fraudulent transactions, maintain records, handle returns, improve the store, and meet legal or regulatory responsibilities.

Payments

Online payment details are handled by Paystack or another payment provider displayed at checkout. ARD Stores does not receive or store your complete card number, CVV, banking password, or one-time password. We may retain a payment reference and status for reconciliation, support, refunds, and dispute handling.

Who receives information

Information may be shared only as needed with payment processors, delivery partners, suppliers fulfilling an order, website or communications service providers, professional advisers, and authorities where required by law. We do not sell customer contact information.

Optional website analytics

If you choose Allow analytics, ARD Stores uses Google Analytics to understand website visits, product views, cart additions, checkout starts, contact-link clicks and confirmed purchases. Google receives page and campaign information, device/browser information, product identifiers, order value, currency and a transaction identifier. This integration does not send customer contact fields, delivery addresses, card details, private order-access tokens or payment references. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled. Analytics cookies and your choice last up to 180 days. You can decline and continue shopping, or withdraw consent through Privacy choices in the footer. Browser privacy opt-out signals are respected.

Optional advertising measurement (Meta)

If you allow Advertising measurement and optimisation (Meta), ARD Stores uses Meta Pixel to measure and improve Facebook and Instagram advertising. We send relevant shopping actions, product identifiers, basket quantities and values in Nigerian naira, action times and an opaque transaction event identifier for a confirmed purchase. Meta Pixel also receives the page address/referrer and normal technical information, including browser/device, network/IP, cookie and advertising-click information. Meta may match activity to its services and provide advertising measurement and optimisation under its applicable terms and privacy policy. Our configured event fields do not include names, email addresses, phone numbers, delivery addresses, payment references, card data or private order-access tokens. Automatic advanced matching and server-side Conversions API are not enabled in this phase. Shopping works without this permission. You can decline or withdraw through Privacy choices in the footer. We respect GPC and DNT signals. Withdrawing stops future sharing from this integration; it does not recall data already sent. The separate permission record expires after 180 days; this is not a statement of Meta cookie or platform event-retention periods. Storage and retention

Cart and checkout drafts may remain in browser storage until you clear them or complete checkout. Order and communication records are retained only for as long as reasonably needed for fulfilment, accounting, customer support, fraud prevention, disputes, or legal obligations.

Your choices and rights

You may ask to access, correct, update, or delete personal information held by ARD Stores, subject to lawful record-keeping requirements. You may also object to or restrict certain uses and withdraw consent where processing depends on consent.

Security and children

Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect customer information, but no online system is completely risk-free. The store is not designed for children to place orders without a parent or guardian.
