Information we collect

We may collect your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, order details, product preferences, messages, product sourcing links or images, and payment status or transaction reference. The website may also store your cart and checkout draft on your device.

How we use it

We use customer information to process orders, source requested products, prepare quotations, arrange delivery, answer enquiries, prevent duplicate or fraudulent transactions, maintain records, handle returns, improve the store, and meet legal or regulatory responsibilities.

Payments

Online payment details are handled by Paystack or another payment provider displayed at checkout. ARD Stores does not receive or store your complete card number, CVV, banking password, or one-time password. We may retain a payment reference and status for reconciliation, support, refunds, and dispute handling.

Who receives information

Information may be shared only as needed with payment processors, delivery partners, suppliers fulfilling an order, website or communications service providers, professional advisers, and authorities where required by law. We do not sell customer contact information.

Storage and retention

Cart and checkout drafts may remain in browser storage until you clear them or complete checkout. Order and communication records are retained only for as long as reasonably needed for fulfilment, accounting, customer support, fraud prevention, disputes, or legal obligations.

Your choices and rights

You may ask to access, correct, update, or delete personal information held by ARD Stores, subject to lawful record-keeping requirements. You may also object to or restrict certain uses and withdraw consent where processing depends on consent.

Security and children

Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect customer information, but no online system is completely risk-free. The store is not designed for children to place orders without a parent or guardian.
